A 33-year-old Seattle man was charged in Kitsap County for possession of a controlled substance after he tried to retrieve a bag containing methamphetamine from the Suquamish Casino's lost-and-found May 7.[h/t VegasTripping]
The casino's security officer alerted the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office when the bag, turned in by a customer, was found to contain three knives, a bag of white crystals later identified as meth, some jewelry, a small digital scale and some blood pressure medication. The suspect's identification was also in the bag.

Wait, this guy was arrested? He could have claimed that the crystal meth was his way of keeping his blood pressure under control - i.e. balancing its effects against the medication, much as diabetics often carry candy or glucose tabs to avoid going hypoglycemic.
Then he could have sued the police department for inflicting pain and suffering upon an invalid.
Crooks really ARE stupid.
I recall hearing someone, confronted while wearing someone else's jacket that he had taken off of a chair in a bar, saying "hey, I stole this jacket fair and square."
